I’m so glad you found me and look forward to learning more about you!
Welcome!
Hi! I’m Jess. AAC/AT Specialist, Speech Therapist, Educational Consultant, and Mom x2. I help schools and families get AAC right — not just on paper, but in practice. That means device selection, team training, and building systems that hold up after I leave the room. I love learning, digging into problems, and working with teams to find solutions that are practical, individualized, and sustainable.
My work is grounded in evidence-based best practice, science, and the belief that communication is a basic human right. With over 15 years of experience in the education field, I find myself drawn to the space where barriers are identified, scrutinized, and dismantled. Whether with individuals or companies, accessibility is always a foresight, rather than a hindsight. And everyone benefits.
When I’m not at work you can find me gardening, reading, or outdoors with my two kids who love to bike, hike, and generally just immerse themselves in nature.
